The Summer sermon series is titled, "Hot Topics: Biblical Ethics." This is a very timely series that will be addressing some of the important ethical issues that we are facing as believers. We live in confusing times and we need to see what God has to say in His Word regarding these challenges.
Below is the list and dates of the topics. After each message, we will post the audio online here to play or download.
June 7: Foundation for Ethics (Pastor Gabe)

June 21: Abortion
June 28: Issues of life: planning life-birth control, healing life-stem cell research, creating life-reproduction issues.
July 5: Body ethics: Alcohol Abuse
July 12: Body ethics: indulging, altering
July 19: Divorce/Remarriage (Pastor Gabe)
July 26: War (Pastor Gabe)
Aug 2: Capital Punishment
Aug 9: Euthanasia
Aug 16: Sexual immorality
Aug 23: Pornography
These messages will be recorded and available on the church website and on CD.
Children's Summer Sunday School: Due to the mature nature of these topics the Children's Team will be offering Sunday School DURING the message each week for children up through 5th grade. The children will leave at the beginning of the message and then at 10:30 a.m. they will go straight to music time with Mrs. Harmsen until 10:45 a.m. Because of this change, for the 7 weeks that we would have had Sunday School in June and July (we don't have S.S. in August), there will be no Sunday School hour for children. The nursery and Children's programming will be done at 10:45 a.m. and the children will need to be picked up then. We know this is a change from the past summers, but the Children's Team just can't plan for S.S. during the service each week, VBS, and an additional hour for these 7 weeks.
