Purpose:
The purpose of the Children’s Ministry Team is to reach and teach children, alongside their parents, how to live their lives on a daily basis for Jesus Christ, while developing a lifelong desire to know, love and serve God with their whole heart.
What’s important to us….
- Receiving prayerful guidance from the Holy Spirit for the direction of our ministry.
- Recognizing that children are capable of worshipping and serving God
- Remembering that children are a special treasure given to us by God, uniquely made, who will be fully accepted and loved by us just as they are
- Teaching from Biblically sound, age –appropriate curriculum
- Using adult volunteers, called to serve our children, providing a living example of Godly character and conduct
- Providing a safe and loving environment for children
- Equipping children to grow in and to share their faith
Goal:
The goal of the Children’s Ministry team is to provide a safe, loving and secure environment for our children from birth to grade six.
